Often called Tradescantia.
Easy to care for.
*Cutting option - a cutting will be sent for you to root.
First photo is an example of a cutting, and the type of box we normally send them in to ensure they arrive safely.
This cultivar has no established name, but is the only sectoral-variegated cultivar of the species. Tinantia pringlei is commonly known as Mexican or spotted wandering dude.
It is not a Tradescantia, but in the same family – Commelinaceae. Often mislabelled as tradescantias and was sold to me as a Tradescantia.
Note - This plant has very colourful foliage of fresh green with splodges / spots to brighten up any room as a hanging or trailing indoor plant. The common name of Wandering Dude is derived from the its ability to easily root and thrive in different environments.
The plant is very fast growing and will quickly generate new growth. Pinch out older brown leaves regularly to keep the plant looking tidy.
House plant - Succulent
I have a plant passport - ALL online sellers should have one - Plant passports ensure that plants and plant products are traced throughout the supply chain and declares compliance with plant health requirements.
