Echinopsis ancistrophora subs. cardenasiana - (Lobivia cardenasiana)

Magenta flowered, very showy flowers, solitary growing cactus.  A slightly flattened to spherical shape, from Bolivia.

From Bolivia, Altitude: 2250-3150 metres above sea level.
Habitat and Ecology: It grows in rocky outcrops among grass, mostly on South East facing slopes.

(Often referred to as Lobivia cardensiana)

These plants have been grown from seed from a plant in my collection.
