Echinoposis ferox, also known as Echinopsis ferox. Spines nearly cover the body and can be hooked. Very spiny and hooked. Spiral shaped ribs the areoles have a light wool felt.
Flowers, when mature, funnel-shaped, can be white, pink, purple or yellow.
Origin and Habitat: NW Argentina, Western Bolivia.Altitude range: 1800 to 4000 metres above sea level.
