The common name of Wandering Dude is derived from the its ability to easily grow and thrive in different environments. Tradescantia is part of the Spiderwort family.

The plant is quite fast-growing and will quickly generate new growth. Pinch out older brown leaves regularly to keep the plant looking tidy.
